The Coronavirus (COVID-19) A Letter from our President, Nancy Blount
Blount Small Ship Adventures would like to thank guests, travel agent partners, vendors and our employees and crew members for their patience and understanding during this rapidly evolving situation. We have made the difficult decision to suspend operating until May 2nd. We are currently reaching out to all guests impacted by this decision.
The health and safety of our guests and crew has always been our top priority. We continue to stay on top of this rapidly changing situation.
The first of our Historic Chesapeake Bay Cruises is still scheduled to depart Baltimore on May 2. If anything changes, an update will be posted here.
While we are committed to providing you with the information you need to make informed decisions around your travel, we also understand the need for flexibility based on your individual circumstances. For those passengers with compromised immune systems, on sailings now through May 31, 2020, who feel that is best to postpone your trip, we are offering to transfer you to another 2020 sailing with no penalty. In addition, If you are not feeling well and have flu like symptoms including fever and uncontrolled coughing and sneezing, we recommend postponing travel for the sake of other passengers and crew.
Blount Small Ship Adventures is proud to be able to take you to exciting US, Canadian and Caribbean destinations that the big ships cannot. Travel is fundamental to our business and our lives therefore we should never stop, and I encourage you to postpone your cruise, don’t cancel.
Thank you for your support and understanding during these challenging circumstances and we look forward to welcoming you onboard.Sincerely,
