A complimentary shuttle service from the vessel will take you downtown to explore, with options to visit the New Holland Brewing Company and Windmill Island, home to the only authentic working Dutch windmill in the United States. Or, you may join an optional bus ride to Grand Rapids, MI and enjoy a docent led tour of the President Gerald Ford Museum.

Welcome to Holland, MI, where you don’t need a passport! Holland is located on the shores of Lakes Michigan and Macatawa. From white sandy beaches, to an award winning downtown area, Holland is a small town with big city amenities. In this charming town, you can climb to the top of a sand dune or a windmill, you can shop for a pair of shoes or explore a quaint Dutch village. Today, we will have shuttle service between the ship and two prime locations. The first stop will be at the New Holland Brewing Company, which is centrally located downtown and close to everything. The second stop will be at Windmill Island, home of an over 200-year old operating Dutch windmill. Take the shuttle to either location or to both locations to make the most out of your time here in Holland.
Gerald Ford Museum & Grand Rapids, MI
“Tell the truth, work hard, and come to dinner on time.” wrote Gerald Ford, the 38th US President. Today, you will have the opportunity to visit the museum dedicated to President and Mrs. Ford in Grand Rapids, MI. Your coach will pick you up from the ship and travel the 30 minutes to Grand Rapids, where you will be dropped off and be taken on a docent led tour of the museum. You will then have about an hour and a half to continue visiting the museum on your own. Or you may choose to go across the street to the Grand Rapids Public Museum or go into downtown Grand Rapids.
